Senior Nannies: Leading the Way in Post-Injury Home Healthcare

ree

In an exclusive interview, Bloom Magazine sat down with Claudia Wechter, the visionary founder of Senior Nannies, and Gary Loffredo, her partner and CEO of SN Home Healthcare. Together, they opened up about their mission, their journey, and the powerful impact they’re making in the lives of injured workers across Florida.

“At Senior Nannies and SN Home Healthcare, our goal is simple but vital,” Claudia shared. “We want to help injured workers recover quickly and successfully—especially those facing catastrophic injuries like TBI, spinal cord damage, and ventilator dependency. Whether the need is skilled or non-skilled care, our team is ready to step in, statewide.”

When it comes to workers' compensation, timing is everything—and Claudia and Gary understand that better than most. “We’re available 24/7,” Gary emphasized. “Our team can staff cases the same day and return documentation within 24 to 48 hours. We keep adjusters and nurse case managers in the loop with daily or weekly updates, whether it’s a long-term or short-term case. We make it our priority to be reliable, responsive, and consistent.”

With decades of experience, Claudia and Gary have built something uniquely positioned in the industry. “We offer true statewide coverage,” they explained. “What really makes us different is our in-house clinical team dedicated to catastrophic cases, plus our 24/7 live clinical and non-clinical support. We’ve also invested in technology and built an in-house case management team that brings a personal touch to every case.”

Claudia’s journey began nearly 30 years ago. “I started Florida’s first Assisted Living Placement Service in the tri-county area,” she recalled. “That quickly evolved into Senior Nannies and eventually SN Home Healthcare, as we saw a growing need for both skilled and non-skilled care. When we entered the workers’ comp space, we saw a real opportunity to do better—and be better—for injured workers.”

Today, they operate from nine locations and have no intention of slowing down. “We’re expanding to meet demand,” Claudia noted. “Our goal is to reach every injured worker who needs us, wherever they are in Florida.”

From assisted living to complex workers' compensation cases, Claudia Wechter and Gary Loffredo have built their legacy on service, compassion, and a deep commitment to improving people’s lives. Their leadership continues to transform care for injured workers, blending experience, innovation, and heart in every step of the recovery journey.
