Tulum is a laid-back beach town on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, known for its tropical charm, artistic vibe, and ancient history. With bright buildings, a buzzing food scene, and those iconic Mayan ruins perched over turquoise water, it’s the kind of place that feels both deeply cultural and totally relaxing. If you’re looking for a dreamy escape with just the right mix of adventure and ease, Tulum might just be your next favorite spot.

• Taqueria Honorio (Satélite Sur 19, Tulum Centro): Hands down, some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Get there early—they often sell out!

The ruins deserve their own shout-out. With temples, pyramids, and a palace, this ancient city offers a real connection to the past. It's one of the most accessible and visually stunning ruin sites in the region—and yes, the ocean backdrop is as breathtaking in person as it is in photos.
