Ashley Conway: Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor at USIS/Davies

ree

Ashley Conway is a woman who wears many hats—and somehow manages to wear them all well. As a mother, wife, friend, supervisor, HOA president, and PTO activities chair, she leads with care, presence, and a deep appreciation for the people around her. What shines through most in her day-to-day life is her ability to cultivate genuine connection, both at home and in the community.

“I love building relationships with my teammates, clients, and coworkers,” Ashley shares. It’s clear that this love for connection isn’t just a part of her job—it’s part of who she is. She starts every day with a few grounding breaths, a quiet ritual that helps her center herself before stepping into the many roles she plays.

Describing herself as “caring, understanding, and passionate,” Ashley also carries the qualities of someone others gravitate toward—she’s often described by those around her as “influencing, humble, and honest.” Whether she’s supporting her colleagues, planning school events, or simply being there for a friend, Ashley leads with heart.

Though she wishes she had more time to read, she stays present by practicing daily yoga and meditation. Music helps her unwind too—lately, it’s Dirty Heads’ “Life’s Been Good” that’s been on repeat. Her greatest joy, though, comes from her family. Her boys are her daily dose of laughter, especially during their cherished 7 PM family movie time.

Self-care isn’t something Ashley neglects—it’s woven into her routine. She keeps it simple: sleep, water, meditation, downtime, and breathing. She knows what fuels her and what doesn’t—savory over sweet, and a caramel macchiato venti to jumpstart her morning. Ever prepared, her bag is always packed with band-aids, eyeglass cleaner, snacks, BC powder, and ChapStick—little tools that reflect just how tuned-in she is to both her own needs and those of others.

While Ashley doesn’t necessarily think of herself as someone who inspires other women, it happens naturally. “I make sure everyone knows they’re valued. It’s OK to make mistakes, and I’m always here to listen and guide,” she says. Her approach to leadership and friendship is refreshingly honest and rooted in kindness.

She’s a big believer in lifting others up. “We’re so quick to point out the negatives,” she reflects. “What if we used that same energy to highlight the moments when someone makes you smile?” It’s a shift in mindset she lives by—and encourages in others.

Ashley is grateful for the women who’ve helped shape her: her grandmother, aunt, coworkers, and friends. “They motivate me, ground me, and want me to be my best self,” she says. And in return, she creates that same space for others—a place where care, connection, and being human are always enough.

Ashley Conway reminds us that there is strength in slowing down, in being fully present, and in showing up wholeheartedly for others. Through her daily rituals and quiet leadership, she’s a beautiful example of what it means to live with purpose, compassion, and community in mind.
